THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM WRIT PETITION No.4647 of 2018 ORDER:

The action of the respondent authorities in trying to evict the petitioners from the land situated in Sy.No.998/E and Sy.No.1000 of Mothkur Village and Mandal, without providing alternative lands and without issuing any notices under the Land Acquisition Act, is challenged in the present Writ Petition.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners. When the matter is taken up for hearing, learned Government Pleader for Irrigation (Telangana), on specific instructions from the Executive Engineer, Irrigation Department, has categorically stated before the Court that there was no proposal to undertake any works, in any land and muchless in the land situated in Sy.Nos.998/E and 1000 situated at Mothkur Village and Mandal, Yadadri Bhongir District, over which the petitioners have been claiming right.

In the light of the submissions made by the learned Government Pleader, which are taken on record, the Writ Petition is closed. No order as to costs.

Consequently, Miscellaneous Petitions pending, if any, in this Writ Petition, shall stand closed.
