This Criminal Petition, under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, is filed by the petitioners/ accused Nos.1 and 3 seeking to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.316 of 2014 on the file of XIII Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Hyderabad, by which, the petitioners/ accused Nos.1 and 3 are being prosecuted for the offences alleged under Sections 498A and 406 I.P.C. and Sections 4 and 6 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961.

Heard both sides. Perused the record.

It is submitted that the parties are intending to compromise the matter. The parties are at liberty to get the matter compromised in accordance with the procedure established under law. There are no merits to quash the proceedings.

Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is dismissed. Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Criminal Petition shall stand closed.
