HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE K. LAKSHMAN WRIT PETITION No.6319 OF 2021 ORDER (ORAL):

Sri S. Ramamohan, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, on instructions, would submit that the police have received a complaint dated 13.11.2020 from the petitioner and after making entry in the General Diary, enquired into and thereafter they have closed it treating it as civil in nature and filed final report on 25.11.2020. According to him, the police have already served a copy of the said final report on the petitioner. Whereas, learned counsel for the petitioner disputes the same stating that the petitioner has not received any report.

2. In view of the above, the writ petition is disposed of directing respondent No.3 to furnish a copy of the final report to the petitioner to enable him to take further steps in accordance with law. No order as to costs.

As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in the writ petition stand closed.
