THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR AND THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE S.V.BHATT WRIT PETITION No.15964 of 2016 ORDER: (per Hon'ble Sri Justice Sanjay Kumar) The Sub-Inspector of Police, Vedullapalli Police Station, Guntur Rural District, filed a counter affidavit stating that the alleged detenus were arrested and remanded to judicial custody.

In that view of the matter, the prayer for issuance of writ of Habeas Corpus does not survive for consideration on merits. The writ petition is accordingly dismissed leaving it open to the petitioners to take recourse to appropriate remedies in accordance with law. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, also stand dismissed. No order as to costs.
