THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE M.S.RAMACHANDRA RAO Company Application No.588 of 2017 in R.C.C.No.2 of 1995 ORDER:

This application is filed by the Official Liquidator to approve the allocation of the 216 companies in liquidation to the four Chartered Accountants who are already empanelled by his office for the audit of half yearly accounts for the period from 01-10-2016 to 31-03-2017.

This Court passed orders on 07-09-2017 to invite applications from Chartered Accountants registered with the institution of Chartered Accountants by way of publication in one English Daily Newspaper of Hyderabad Edition for appointment to audit account of the companies in liquidation.

Accordingly, the Official Liquidator has issued advertisement on 13-09-2017 in the Indian Express inviting applications of registered Chartered Accountants for empanelment. According to the report filed by the Official Liquidator, only two responses were received, one by M/s.Dutt & Associates chartered Accountants and the other by M/s.Murthy & Kanth Chartered Accountants. The latter is already empanelled by the Official Liquidator.

In the absence of any other responses to the advertisement issued by the Official Liquidator, I deem it appropriate to include

MSR,J COMPA.No.588 of 2017 in R.C.C.No.2 of 1995 M/s.Dutt & Associates chartered Accountants in the panel of Chartered Accountants empanelled by the Official Liquidator in addition to the four other Chartered Accountant Firms which are already empanelled by him.

Accordingly, this application is allowed directing inclusion of M/s.Dutt & Associates chartered Accountants in the empanel of Chartered Accountants empanelled by the Official Liquidator.
