THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM WRIT PETITION No. 4639 OF 2018 O R D E R:

This Writ Petition is filed seeking a direction to the 2nd respondent to mutate the name of the petitioner in revenue records in respect of premises bearing Door No. 14-188 situated at Kanuru Gram Panchayat, Penamaluru Mandal, Krishna District and consequently, to receive the property tax thereof. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Government Pleader for Panchayat Raj (Andhra Pradesh) and Sri G. Seshadri, learned Standing Counsel for the 2nd respondent gram panchayat.

Since it is the case of the petitioner that she has already submitted a representation dated 05.07.2014 seeking mutation of her name in the revenue records in respect of the subject property, without going into the merits of the matter, the 2nd respondent Panchayat Secretary is directed to consider and pass appropriate orders thereon within eight weeks from today. The Writ Petition is accordingly, disposed of. No costs. Consequently, the miscellaneous Applications, if any shall stand closed.
