CVNR, J WP 16939/2007 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed for the following substantive relief: "...to appoint the petitioner as Class IV employee either on contract basis or on regular basis in 2nd respondent school by issuing a Writ, or order or direction more particularly in the nature of Writ of Mandamus." A perusal of the proceedings sheet shows that an interim order dt.31.10.2008 was granted directing the respondents to consider the case of the petitioner for engaging her services as Class-IV employee, either on contract basis or otherwise, if there is requirement in respondent No.2 - School, pending further orders.

Having regard to the nature of the relief claimed in the writ petition, the interim relief granted and the fact that no one represented the petitioner, I am of the opinion that no further adjudication is necessary. Hence, the writ petition is closed. As a sequel to closure of the writ petition, W.P.M.P. No.21639 of 2007 shall stand disposed of as infructuous.
