This Motor Accident Civil Miscellaneous Appeal is arising out of the order dated 23.02.1996 in O.P.No.765 of 1992 on the file of Chairman, Motor Vehicles Accidents Claims Tribunal-cum-II Additional District Judge, Ranga Reddy District at Hyderabad (for short "Tribunal"). 2.

The appellants herein are the legal heirs of deceased K.Chennaiah, who died in a motor vehicle accident on 31.05.1992. They filed O.P.No.765 of 1992 claiming compensation of Rs.6,00,000/- on account of the death of K.Chennaiah, whereas the Tribunal awarded an amount of Rs.2,05,500/-. Being aggrieved by the said order, this appeal has been preferred.

Learned counsel for the appellants is not present. Heard learned counsel for respondent No.3 Sri R.Venkata Rao and perused the order of the Tribunal.

The Tribunal has properly appreciated the evidence on record and awarded just compensation. The Tribunal has taken into consideration the income of the deceased as Rs.3,000/- correctly and, basing on that, calculated the compensation. Therefore, I do not see any valid ground to interfere with the findings of the Tribunal.

In the result, the appeal is dismissed. The award of the Tribunal dated 23.02.1996 in O.P.No.765 of 1992 is confirmed. There shall be no order as to costs. 6.

As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
