When the matter is taken up for hearing, learned Government Pleader for Services appearing for the respondents has informed the Court that the petitioner has retired from service and that none of the juniors to the petitioner were promoted and hence, there is no contempt on the part of the respondents.

Learned counsel for the petitioner did not dispute the said fact.

3. In view 01'the said submissions, this Court is of the considered view that there is no contempt committed by the respondents, as ,admittedly, none of the juniors to the petitioner were promoted.

Accordingly, the Contempt Case is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
