Petitioner's grievance is that even though he is eligible tobe promoted on regular basis as Executive Director, by applying the principle of reservation in promotions for Scheduled Tribe category, his promotion is not granted on regular basis, whereas he is treated as on deputation to higher post on the same pay drawn by him in the lower cadre causing lot of hardship and suffering to him.

Ventilating his grievance, the petitioner submitted representation, dated 10.02.2017, addressed to the Principal Secretary to Government, Social Welfare Department, Velagapudi, Amaravathi, Guntur District, the 1st respondent. Alleging inaction on the said representation, the petitioner filed this Writ Petition. 3.
Since the petitioner has already ventilated his grievance, which is pending consideration by the competent authority, the Writ Petition is disposed of, directing the 1st respondent to examine the representation, dated 10.02.2017, submitted by the petitioner and pass appropriate orders as warranted by law by assigning due reasons in support of his decision, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
