M/S Sri Krishna Movie Land A/C v. The Entertainment Tax Officer

HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE S. RAVI KUMAR CIVIL MISCELLANEOUS APPEAL No.3244 of 2003 JUDGMENT :

This appeal is preferred questioning the entertainment tax imposed against appellant herein.

2. Both counsel for appellant and respondent fairly stated that the issue involved in this appeal is covered by judgment of Hon'ble Supreme Court in Entertainment Tax Officer, Madhapur Circle, Hyderabad and others v. Geeta Enterprises and others[1].

It is further represented that in view of the above covered decision, nothing survives and that appeal is liable to be dismissed.

3. Considering the submissions of both sides, this appeal is dismissed.

4. Miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed. No costs.
