THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAJASHEKER REDDY WRIT PETITION No.5604 OF 2011 ORDER:
This writ petition is filed seeking to issue an order, direction or writ more particularly, one in the nature of writ of Mandamus t o declare the action of the respondents in not notifying the Vice President, Mandal Praja Parishad, Venkatapur as President for discharging the functions in pursuance of "No Confidence Motion", dated 24.01.2011, as illegal and arbitrary, and consequently, to direct respondent No.1 to notify the Vice President, Mandal Praja Parishad, Venkatapur to perform the duties of the President in exercise of powers under Section 165(3) of the A.P.Panchayat Raj Act, 1994.
2. At the time of admission of the writ petition on 17.03.2011, this Court passed an interim order in W.P.M.P.No.6967 of 2011 as under: "The grievance of the petitioner, who is the Vice President of the Mandal Praja Parishad, Venkatapur, is that even though the President of the said Parishad was removed in a No Confidence Motion carried out on 24.01.2011, no steps are taken to keep him as incharge of the office of the President as envisaged under Section 165(6) of the A.P. Panchayat Raj Act, 1994 (for short, the Act.") In the light of the above facts and the provisions of Section 165 (6) of the Act, respondent Nos.1 to 3 are directed to ensure that the petitioner is kept incharge of the office of the President of the Mandal Praja Parishad, Venkatapur, till elections to the office of President are held.

3. Heard Sri G.Vidya Sagar, learned counsel for the petitioner, and the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Panchayat Raj and Rural Development (Telangana) appearing for the respondents.

Learned Assistant Government Pleader has placed proceedings in
Rc.No.H/08/2011, dated 31.07.2012, of the Sub Collector, Mulug stating that the aforementioned interim order has been complied with and the petitioner acted as President of Mandal Praja Parishad with effect from 17.03.2011 to 24.04.2011 in the absence of the President.
5. In view of the proceedings, dated 31.07.2012, the grievance of the petitioner in this writ petition stood redressed and the cause in this writ petition does not survive for adjudication and hence, no further orders are required to be passed in this Writ Petition.
6. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of in terms of the aforementioned interim order of this Court. There shall be no order as to costs.
