This Criminal Petition, under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, is filed by the petitioners/ A.1 and A.2, to quash the proceedings in Crime No.179 of 2019 on the file of the III Metropolitan Magistrate, Nampally at Hyderabad. 2.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners/ A.1 and A.2, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor representing respondent No.1-State and perused the record. 3.

In the course of submissions, it is brought to the notice of this Court that the de facto complainant is the sister of the petitioner/ A.1. Petitioners/ A.1 and A.2 are wife and husband. It is submitted that altogether three criminal cases were registered against the petitioners on a report given by respondent No.2/ de facto complainant. In all the three criminal cases, similar allegations were made.

It appears from the record that there are monetary and civil disputes in between the parties to the litigation. Under these circumstances, as far as the merits of the case are concerned, there are grounds to proceed with further investigation. Therefore, it is not appropriate to quash the proceedings at this stage. In view of the nature of disputes between the parties, the Station House Officer concerned is directed to complete the investigation and file final report, without arresting the petitioners/ A.1 and A.2.

With the above observations/ directions, the Criminal Petition is disposed of.

Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Criminal Petition shall stand closed.
