HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A. RAJASHEKER REDDY W.P. No. 26498 of 2017 O R D E R:- The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the 4th respondent - District Collector has no power to issue the impugned proceedings dated 03.08.2017 suspending the services of the petitioner, however the 2nd respondent - Commissioner of Endowments is the competent authority to issue such proceedings as per relevant provisions of the Endowments Act.

The learned Government for Endowments appearing on behalf of respondent Nos.1 to 3 has produced the proceedings dated 11.08.2017 issued by the 2nd respondent whereby the petitioner's services are suspended with effect from 03.08.2017 pending disciplinary proceedings.

In view of the proceedings issued by the competent authority and since the 4th respondent has no power to suspend the petitioner's services, the proceedings dated 03.08.2017 are hereby set aside, however no relief can be granted to the writ petitioner by virtue of the proceedings dated 11.08.2017 issued by the competent authority placing him under suspension and it is open for the petitioner to challenge the said proceedings dated 11.08.2017 in accordance with law.

ARR,J WP_26498_ 2017 Accordingly, the writ petition is closed. No order as to costs.

As a sequel, Miscellaneous Petitions, if any pending, shall stand disposed of as infructuous.
