THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.3106 of 2016 ORDER:

The grievance of the petitioner is that the Station House Officer, Venkatapuram Police Station, Venkatapuram, Khammam District, refused to receive her complaint. However, she did not take any steps to approach the Superintendent of Police, Khammam, in this context under Section 154 Cr.P.C.

In the light of the efficacious remedy provided under the statute, it is not open to the petitioner to directly approach this Court by way of this writ petition.

Hence, the writ petition is dismissed leaving it open to the petitioner to avail the statutory remedy in accordance with law. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall also stand dismissed. No order as to costs.
