THE HON'BLE Dr. JUSTICE D.NAGARJUN CRIMINAL PETITION No.1813 OF 2020 ORDER:

This Criminal Petition is filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure by the petitioners-accused Nos.2 to 4 to quash the proceedings initiated against them in Crime No.170 of 2019 of C.C.S., Hyderabad City, Hyderabad District, registered for the offences under Sections 406, 420 read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Sri Anirudh Joshi, learned counsel for the petitioners is present.

Learned Assistant Public Prosecutor appearing for respondent No.1-State has filed copy of the Final Report filed by the Sub-Inspector of Police, WCO Team-X, CCS, DD, Hyderabad, stating that during pendency of this criminal petition, they have completed the investigation and filed Final Report in Crime No.170 of 2019 by treating the case as 'civil in nature' and closed the same.

In view of the above submission, since the very purpose of filing this criminal petition has already been fulfilled and no cause survives in this petition and thereby the Criminal Petition has become infructuous and liable to be dismissed.

Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is dismissed as infructuous.

Pending Miscellaneous Applications, if any, shall stand closed.
