Petitioner was appointed as Coal Filler in the year 1982. Earlier petitioner developed some disc problem and as per the assessment made by the Medical Board he was posted as General Mazdoor underground. According to the petitioner, the disc problem has more aggravated now on account of his advanced age and recently he was also operated for myocardial infraction. Having regard to these subsequent developments, the petitioner made a representation to refer him to a medical board but so far no orders are passed. 2.
Learned counsel appearing for petitioner submits that while the representation of the petitioner is pending consideration, he has also developed cardiac problem and he had to undergo open heart surgery in December 2016 and therefore, it is all the more urgent in referring the case to a medical board.

Since the representation made by the petitioner on 26.2.2016 is pending consideration, while granting liberty to the petitioner to make an additional representation bringing to the notice of the competent authority the subsequent developments, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the General Manager (2nd respondent) to pass orders on the representation submitted by the petitioner on 26.2.2016 and an additional representation, if any, submitted within two weeks from the
PNR,J W.P.NO. 2817 OF 2017 date of receipt of a copy of this order, as early as possible, preferably within a period of four weeks thereafter. There shall be no order as to costs. As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, pending if any, shall stand closed.
