This Writ Petition is filed to issue an order or direction or writ especially Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of respondent No.1 in issuing the impugned Lr.No.BCI.D.855/ 2007(LE:Mtg) dated 13.07.2007 in not granting approval of affiliation to the petitioner college for imparting three year as well as five year law course for the academic year 2007-2008 onwards as arbitrary, illegal, unconstitutional and consequently direct the respondents to accord extension of approval of affiliation to the petitioner college for imparting three-year as well as five-year law course for the academic year 2007-2008.

Learned counsel for the petitioner is absent. 3.
Mrs. S.Nanda, learned counsel appearing for The Bar Council of India-respondent No.1 submits that the petitioner asked for affiliation to its college for the academic year 2007-08 and the period is already over and subsequently the petitioner college was given affiliation and the same was renewed, and in those circumstances, nothing survives for adjudication in the present Writ Petition and the same has become infructuous.
MGR, J W.P.No.16818 of 2007 Recording the said submission, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No order as to costs. Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
