The prayer of the petitioner in this case reads as under: 'For the reasons stated in the accompanying affidavit, it is hereby prayed that this Hon'ble Court may be pleased to issue an appropriate writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of writ of Mandamus declaring the inaction of the 4th respondent in not mutating the petitioners name in the Revenue Records and not issuing Title Deed and Pattadar Pass Book of land of Acres 0.09 Guntas in S.No.506/E, Acres 0.31 Guntas in S.No.

509/A/1 in Anandapuram village, Nellipaka Banjara Revenue Aswapuram Mandal, Bhadradri Kothagudem District, for being illegal, arbitrary violative of provisions of the Telangana Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass Books Act, 1971 and the Rules made thereunder and unconstitutional and consequently direct the 4th respondent to mutate the name of the petitioner in Revenue Records and issue Pattadar Pass Book and Title Deed for land of the petitioner of Acres 0.09 Guntas in S.No.506/E and Acres 0.31 Guntas in S.No.509/A/1 in Anandapuram village, Nellipaka Banjara Revenue Aswapuram Mandal, Bhadradri Kothagudem District and pass such other order or orders as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case.'

Perusal of the record reflects that the petitioner submitted an application in the prescribed format in Form VI(A) as required by Section 4 of the Telangana Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass Books Act, 1971 read with Rule 18(2) of the Telangana Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass Books Rules, 1989, for mutation of her name in the revenue records in relation to the subject land.

Having received the said application, it is not open to the Tahsildar, Aswapuram Mandal, Bhadradri-Kothagudem District, to remain somnolent.

The writ petition is accordingly disposed of directing the Tahsildar, Aswapuram Mandal, Bhadradri-Kothagudem District, to take appropriate action upon the petitioner's application in accordance with the due procedure expeditiously and in any event, not later than four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, be it from whatever source.
