THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR WRIT PETITION No. 16207 of 2011 ORDER:

The grievance of the petitioner was as to the alleged inaction of the police authorities upon his complaints dated 25.11.2010 and 05.05.2011. The said complaints were made against the fifth respondent. The Station House Officer, Amalapuram Town Police Station, East Godavari District, furnished written instructions dated 22.06.2011 to the Office of the learned

Government Pleader for Home wherein he stated that upon the complaints made by the petitioner an enquiry was conducted and it came to light that the disputes between the petitioner and the fifth respondent were of a civil nature. He therefore stated that the police authorities had accordingly advised the petitioner to approach the competent court for redressal.

In the light of the stand taken by the police authorities, Ms.Vladimeer Khatoon, learned counsel representing Mr.Pappu Srinivasa Rao, learned counsel for the petitioner, states that liberty may be reserved to the petitioner to avail appropriate remedies in accordance with law, be it on the civil or criminal side. Reserving liberty as aforestated, the Writ Petition is dismissed. Pending Miscellaneous Petitions shall also stand dismissed. No order as to costs.
