Heard. With the consent of both the counsel the Writ Petition is disposed of at the admission stage.

Petitioners claim that they have submitted applications to the Southern Power Distribution Company of Telangana State Limited, by enclosing all the relevant documents to provide electricity supply connection to them. But the company is not accepting their applications. Alleging inaction, this writ petition is filed.

When the matter is taken up, learned Standing counsel submits that a person who seeks electricity supply connection has to apply through Integrated Consumer Service Centre and no application is accepted physically by any employee of the Company.

In response, learned counsel for the petitioners do not dispute that so far no such applications were made. 5.

In view of the submission of learned Standing counsel, the Writ Petition is disposed of granting liberty to the petitioners to avail the facility provided through online web service to submit applications. It is needless to observe that as and when such applications are made, the respondent-Company shall process the applications and furnish suitable reply to the petitioners. There shall be no order as to costs.

- 3 - Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
