Sarvabhouma Rao, Advocate on record for the petitioner; Mr. D. Ramesh, learned Special Government Pleader for respondent Nos. 1 to 7 and Mr. C.V. Mohan Reddy, learned Senior Counsel for respondent No.8.
Since the quarry is closed, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he has instructions not to press the Public Interest Litigation.
Insofar as the allegations made by the petitioner against respondents are concerned, we have perused the report submitted by the Joint Collector, West Godavari District, in pursuance of our order dated 10.12.2015.
We do not find any reason to enter into further enquiry and record our finding about the alleged misleading statements made by the petitioner on the basis of photographs placed on record. It is always open to the contesting respondent, if they so desire to take
further appropriate remedy for redressal of their grievance. The Public Interest Litigation is disposed of as not pressed. Consequently, pending miscellaneous applications shall also stand closed.
