SMT JUSTICE T.RAJANI CRIMINAL PETITION No.1718 OF 2018 ORDER:

This Criminal Petition is filed seeking for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner, who is accused No.5, in Crime No.94 of 2017 on the file of the Station House Officer, Ardhaveedu Police Station, Prakasam District. 2.

The offences alleged are under Sections 420 of I.P.C. and Section 66-D of the Information Technology, Act, 2000.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent-State, and perused the record. 4.

The allegation against this petitioner is that he has been supporting accused No.1, who was preparing fake stamps, for the purpose of securing jobs to innocent public.

Hence, in the light of the said allegation, this Court opines that this is not a fit case for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner/accused No.5. However, the petitioner/accused No.5 is at liberty to surrender the before the lower Court having jurisdiction and obtain regular bail. The lower Court shall dispose of the bail application expeditiously, preferably on the same day, on merits, subject to pressure of other work.

Accordingly, with the above observation, the Criminal Petition is dismissed.

As a sequel, the miscellaneous applications, if any pending, shall stand closed.
