THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO WRIT PETITION No.43882 OF 2016 ORDER:

This writ petition, under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, is filed seeking to declare the inaction of the respondents in investing Crime No.362 of 2016, dated 27.09.2016 of 3rd respondent police station, as arbitrary and illegal and consequently, direct the respondents to investigate the aforesaid F.I.R.

Heard and perused the material available on record. 3.

Grievance of the petitioner is that respondent No.3 registered the aforementioned crime for the offences under Sections 441, 418 and 506 I.P.C. and though he is having sufficient evidence, he is not taking any steps to investigate into the matter and file charge sheet.

Considering the grievance of the petitioner, respondent Nos.3 and 3 are directed to complete the investigation in Crime No.362 of 2016 as expeditiously as possible and file a final report, if any, in either way in accordance with law, within a period of six (6) months from today.

With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous Petitions pending, if any, in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
