Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for Home (TG) appearing for the respondents. 2.

When the matter is taken up, on written instructions, dated 15.02.2018, furnished by the Sub-Inspector of Police, Kondamallepally Police Station, Nalgonda District, it is submitted by the learned Government Pleader for Home that subsequent to registration of Crime No.10 of 2018 under Section 34(e) of A.P. Excise Act and Sections 7(a) and 8(e) of A.P. Prohibition Act, 1995 on the file of Kondamallepally Police Station, Nalgonda District on 11.01.2018, the subject vehicle was deposited before the concerned Deputy Commissioner of Prohibition and Excise, Nalgonda on 15.02.2018. It is further submitted that it is always open to the petitioner herein to make a representation before the concerned Deputy Commissioner of Prohibition and Excise for release of the vehicle.

Having regard to the above instructions, the Writ Petition stands disposed of, keeping it open to the petitioner herein to make an appropriate application before the concerned authority. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous Petitions pending, if any, in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
