The prayer of the petitioner in this case reads as under:- "For the reasons stated in the accompanying affidavit, it is hereby prayed that this Hon'ble Court may be pleased to issue an appropriate Writ, Order or Direction, more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the 4th respondent in not considering the claims of the petitioners in Form VIA dt 29.09.2018 for mutation and for issuance of pattadar pass book and Title deed for an extent of land Acs.13.31 Guntas in Sy.No.265, Acs.5.21 Guntas in Sy.No.266, Acs.10.03 Guntas in Sy.No.351, Ac.1.37 Guntas in Sy.No.367, Ac.1.22 Guntas in Sy.No.371, Ac.1.08 Guntas in Sv.No.378, Ac.1.32 Guntas in Sy.No.381, Acs.8.01 Guntas in Sy.No.382, Acs.8.24 Guntas in Sy.No.383, Acs.5.35 Guntas in Sy.No.390, Acs.13.20 Guntas in Sy. No.393 and Acs.10.12 Guntas in Sy.No.
394 situated at Chennapur revenue Village, Regonda Mandal, JaisankarBhupalpally District, as illegal, arbitrary and violation of principles of natural justice and Consequently direct the 4th respondent to consider the claims of the petitioners for mutation and issuance of pattadar pass book and Title deed in respect of the above said lands and to pass such other order or orders as this Honourable Court may deem fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case."
Perusal of the record reflects that the petitioner made an application in the prescribed format in Form VIA under the provisions of the Telangana Rights in Land and Pattadar Passbooks Act, 1971, to the Tahsildar, Regonda Mandal, Jaisankar-Bhupalpally District.
Having received such an application, it is not open to the Tahsildar, Regonda Mandal, Jaisankar-Bhupalpally District, to remain somnolent.
The Writ Petition is accordingly disposed of directing the Tahsildar, Regonda Mandal, Jaisankar-Bhupalpally District, to take
SK, J WP.No.5682 of 2019 Dt:19.3.2019 appropriate action upon the petitioner's application dated 29.9.2018 in Form VIA in accordance with the due procedure expeditiously and in any event, not later than four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, be it from whatever source.
