THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO WRIT PETITION No.21511 OF 2017 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following relief:- "to issue an order or direction or a writ, more particularly in the nature of WRIT OF MANDAMUS, declaring the inaction of the respondents 1 to 4 in not disposing of our representations dated 07.6.2017 and granting permission to respondents 5 and 6 to run wine shops in the residential locality and specially nearby temple zone and school zone on the bypass road to circumvent the Supreme Court judgment of 500 meters from Highway, as illegal, arbitrary, capricious and opposed to principles of natural justice and public policy and consequently direct the respondents 1 to 4 to stop the running of wine shops in the premises bearing No.2-14 and permit room in Survey No.147/6 by respondents 5 and 6 respectively." 2.

After arguing for sometime, learned counsel for the petitioners requested the Court to direct respondent Nos.1 to 4 herein to consider the representation, dated 07.06.2017, of the petitioners and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law. 3.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the grievance of the petitioners, without going into the merits of the case, respondent Nos.1 to 4 are hereby directed to consider the representation, dated 07.06.2017, of the petitioners and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous Petitions pending, if any, in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
