THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE PRAVEEN KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.15763 of 2016 ORDER:

The present writ petition came to be filed seeking issuance of writ of mandamus directing respondent No.3 to complete investigation in Crime No.77 of 2014 registered against respondent Nos.4 to 7 and file a final report, at the earliest. Though various grounds are raised, learned counsel for the petitioner restricts his prayer seeking a direction to the police to complete the investigation and file final report. Learned Government Pleader for Home on instructions, submits that police have completed investigation and a final report will be filed shortly.

Having regard to the circumstances stated above, the writ petition is disposed of directing respondent No.3 to file a final report, in accordance with law, as early as possible, preferably within a period of four weeks from today.
