This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a writ of Mandamus directing the respondents herein to transfer the petitioner from the post of clerk at Customer Service Centre, Udaigiri, Nellore District to any other posts of Legal Assistant, Despatch Clerk etc., lying vacant within the control and jurisdiction of the General Manager, Telecom District, M/s.Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited, Nellore at Nellore or any other place having regard to the posts identified for partially blind by the Government of India vide OM No.36035/5/84-Estt. (SCT) dated 28.02.1986 with all consequential benefits and to pass such other necessary orders.

No representation on behalf of the petitioner on 30.03.2016 and the matter is posted to today 'for dismissal'. Today also even the matter is listed under the caption 'for dismissal', there is no representation on behalf of the petitioner. It seems that the petitioner is not interested to prosecute the matter. Hence, the writ petition is dismissed for default. Consequently, the miscellaneous petitions if any pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
