This writ petition was filed for the following relief: "to issue a writ or order or direction more particularly one in the nature of writ of mandamus declaring the action of respondents 1 and 2 in granting renewal of licence of Bar and Restaurant in the premises bearing D.No.15-6-5-3, R.R. Layout, Madanapalli, Chittoor District as illegal, arbitrary, unjust and contrary to the provisions of the A.P. Excise (Grant of licence of selling by Bar and conditions of licence) Rules, 2005 and consequently set aside the impugned order dated 30.06.2010 made in Rc.No.A1/201/2010 passed by respondent No.2."

The licence of respondent No.3 was renewed for the period from 01.07.2010 to 30.06.2011 and it appears that O.S.No.327 of 2009 was also pending on the file of Principal Junior Civil Judge, Madanapalli.

In view of the expiry of licence period, nothing survives for consideration in this writ petition and accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed. No order as to costs.

Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
