THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE P. NAVEEN RAO WRIT PETITION No.10870 OF 2017 ORDER:

Petitioner retired as Panchayat Secretary. It appears that the petitioner's wife was suffering with various ailments and she was hospitalised for treatment. The petitioner claims that he has incurred an amount of Rs.3,55,195/- towards treatment, whereas only Rs.1,00,000/- was granted to him by the Government. Requesting to grant the balance amount, the petitioner submitted representation, dated 04.02.2017, to the Government. Alleging inaction on the said representation, causing hardship and suffering due to heavy financial burden, the petitioner filed this Writ Petition.

Since the petitioner submitted representation, dated 04.02.2017, before the Government for grant of additional amount towards reimbursement of medical expenses incurred by him, which is pending consideration, this Court is not inclined to keep the Writ Petition pending.

The Writ Petition is accordingly disposed of directing the 3rd respondent to examine the claim of the petitioner as ventilated in his representation, dated 04.02.2017, and pass appropriate orders as warranted by law by assigning due reasons in support of his decision, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the said decision to the petitioner. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
