This criminal petition is filed for quash of the proceedings in CC.No.307 of 2012, against the petitioners, who are A2 to A5, on the file of the Judicial First Class Magistrate, Wanaparthy. The offences alleged are under Sections 498A, 494 and 109 of the Indian Penal Code.

The learned Public Prosecutor produced a letter addressed by the Sub-Inspector of Police, Pebbair Police Station, Mahabubnagar District dated 06.09.2018 stating that the case ended in acquittal on 07.08.2015.

In the light of the above, this Court opines that no further orders are required to be passed in this criminal petition. The criminal petition is closed. As a sequel, the miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, shall stand closed. __________ T. RAJANI, J September 14, 2018 DSK
