This Writ Petition, under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, is filed to direct the respondents to provide police protection/ police aid to the petitioner for implementation of order, dated 25.07.2018, in I.A.No.1043 of 2018 in I.A.No.596 of 2018 in O.S.No.762 of 2018 passed by the IX Additional Senior Civil Judge, Ranga Reddy District at L.B.Nagar, in respect of land admeasuring Ac.9.33 guntas in Survey Nos.207 to 211 and 213 situated at Karmanghat Village, Saroornagar Mandal, Ranga Reddy District.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home appearing for the respondents. Perused the record.

Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that though the petitioner-company obtained interim injunction order as well as police protection in respect of aforesaid land, the respondent-police are not providing any protection as ordered by the Court below. Therefore, this Writ Petition is filed. 4.

There is no denial of the petitioner obtaining police protection by order 25.07.2018 in I.A.No.1043 of 2018 in I.A.No.596 of 2018 in O.S.No.762 of 2018 passed by the IX Additional Senior Civil Judge, Ranga Reddy at L.B.Nagar. In I.A.No.596 of 2018 in O.S.No.762 of 2018, this petitioner was

granted interim injunction against respondents therein on 10.07.2018. The same is borne by the record.

It is brought to the notice of this Court that in spite of aforesaid orders, the respondent-police failed to provide police protection to the petitioner.

When an order is passed, particularly directing the police to provide protection for peaceful possession and enjoyment of the petitioner over the disputed property, which is the subject matter of the above mentioned suit in O.S.No.762 of 2018, it is the duty of the police to provide requisite protection for the aforesaid purpose. 6.

Under these circumstances, the respondent-police are directed to provide police protection to the petitioner for peaceful possession and enjoyment of the land admeasuring Ac.9.33 guntas in Survey Nos.207 to 211 and 213, situated at Karmanghat Village, Saroornagar Mandal, Ranga Reddy District. 7.

With this direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
