This Writ Petition, under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, is filed seeking the following relief:
"to issue a Writ, Order or Direction more particularly one in the nature of WRIT OF MANDAMUS declaring the action of the 4th respondent in not considering the representation dated 24-09-2016 which was forwarded by the 3rd respondent vide Memo No.2620/A4 dated 04- 10-2016 to 4th respondent with regard to consideration of the case of the petitioner for appointment as Anganwadi Teacher as in-service candidate as illegal, arbitrary, against the principles of natural justice and consequently direct the respondents to consider the case of the petitioner for appointment as Anganwadi Teacher in the vacancy that existed as per Notification dated 22-07-2017 issued by 4th respondent."

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader.

The case of the petitioner is that she submitted a representation on 24.09.2016 to 4th respondent for consideration of her case for appointment to the post of Anganwadi Teacher, but till date no orders are passed on the said representation. Hence, the Writ Petition. 4.
Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the respondents to consider the representation, dated 24.09.2016, said to have been submitted by the petitioner, for appointment to the post of Anganwadi Teacher, with accordance with the Rules and Regulations.

With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
