THE HON'BLE DR. JUSTICE D.NAGARJUN CRIMINAL PETITION No.5738 of 2019 ORDER:

This criminal petition is filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure seeking to quash the proceedings in F.I.R.No.179 of 2019 of Women Police Station, Begumpet, against the petitioners for the offence under Section 498-A of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 4 and 6 of the Dowry Prohibition Act. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Assistant Public Prosecutor reported that the police have completed the investigation and charge sheet is also filed. 3.

Learned counsel for the petitioners fairly submits that he has no objection, if the criminal petition is dismissed with liberty to the petitioners to file a fresh quash petition challenging the said charge sheet.

The criminal petition is accordingly dismissed as withdrawn. However, the petitioners are granted liberty to the petitioners to challenge the charge sheet if they so desire. As a sequel, pending miscellaneous applications, if any, shall stand closed.
