HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE R.KANTHA RAO W.P.No.17474 of 2015 ORDER:

Heard learned counsel on either side.

This writ petition is filed seeking to declare the proceedings dated 6.6.2015 issued by the 4th res pondent whereunder the petitioner was suspended temporarily from the post of Field Assistant, Gunjepalli Grama Panchayat, Mudigubba Mandal, as arbitrary and illegal.

The petitioner was appointed as Field Assistant in Gunjepalli Grama Panchayat, Mudigubba Mandal, Anantapur District, under Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme in 2006. While so, the 4th respondent vide proceedings dated 6.6.2015 suspended the petitioner temporarily, alleging certain irregularities.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the charges levelled against the petitioner are vague and the respondents ought not to have kept him under suspension.

On the other hand, learned Special Counsel appearing for the respondents submits that a

detailed enquiry is required to be conducted against the petitioner in respect of the aforementioned charges.

Having regard to the aforesaid submissions, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the respondents to complete the enquiry against the petitioner within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, failing which, the order of suspension shall stand revoked. zNo costs.

As a sequel, Miscellaneous Applications, if any, shall stand closed.
