I.A.No.2 of 2026 The petitioners seek to set aside an order dated 19.12.2025 passed by this Court dismissing the petitioners' W.P.No.5942 of 2023 for default. The order dated 19.12.2025 records that counsel for the petitioners had taken four consecutive adjournments.

Learned Senior Counsel appearing for the petitioners placed paragraph 7 of the Affidavit filed in support of the application, to harp on the reasons for restoration.

After considering the reasons given by the petitioner and the objections raised by the respondent Nos.4-6 and the respondent Nos.7-11 and 13, and noting that the petitioner failed to proceed with the Writ Petition with due diligence, particularly while benefiting from a status quo order passed by a Co-ordinate Bench on 18.10.2023, we deem it fit to restore the Writ Petition to

its file and number, subject to the petitioners paying costs of Rs...10,000/- to each of the respondent Nos.4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 and 13, within 7 days from today. The order for costs is deemed necessary since the records show that the petitioners have taken repeated and multiple adjournments. There were 4 consecutive adjournments taken before the WP was dismissed for default.

I.A.No.2 of 2026 is accordingly allowed and disposed of in terms of the above.
