THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAMALINGESWARA RAO WRIT PETITION No.20155 OF 2017 ORDER:

Heard learned counsel for petitioner, learned Government Pleader for respondents 1 to 6 and learned counsel for seventh respondent. The petitioner is a resident of sixth respondent Gram Panchayat. There were allegations against the seventh respondent with regard to utilisation of the Gram Panchayat funds and the petitioner submitted representations in that regard. Though enquiry was sought to be conducted from January, 2017, when the same was not conducted, the present writ petition is filed.

Even after issuing notice before admission on 29.06.2017, none of the respondents have filed counter affidavit. Since the relief sought for in the present writ petition is for completing the enquiry proposed to be conducted against the seventh respondent, this writ petition is disposed of directing the respondents 2 to 4 to complete the enquiry pursuant to the earlier notice issued on 06.01.2017 within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and take further action in accordance with law.

The writ petition is accordingly disposed of. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, in this writ petition, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
