HON'BLE THE CHI EF JUSTI CE SRI THOTTATHI L B. RADHAKRI SHNAN AND HON'BLE SRI JUSTI CE RAMESH RANGANATHAN CONTEMPT CASE No.786 of 2012 ORDER: (per the Hon'ble Sri Justice Ramesh Ranganathan) Ms. K. Hemalatha, learned counsel for the petitioner, states that compensation, for the entire extent of Ac.1.31 1⁄2 guntas of land, has been received by the petitioner herein; and the respondents have, albeit belatedly, complied with the orders passed by this Court in W.A.No.321 of 2002 dated 08.08.2011. Learned Government Pleader for Land Acquisition would submit that, from out of five claimants, four have received compensation; and the compensation payable to the 5th claimant has been deposited before the Authority under Section 76 of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013.

As the order passed in W.A.No.321 of 2002 dated 08.08.2011 has since been complied with, we see no reason to proceed against the respondents under the Contempt of Courts Act. The Contempt Case is, accordingly, closed.

Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed. No order as to costs.
