Heard.

The petitioner complains of seizure of his Auto Rikshaw bearing No.AP 30X 4886 in Crime No.152/2014-15 registered with respondent No.3. The petitioner states in paragraph No.6 of the affidavit that he made a request to respondent No.2 for interim release of the vehicle on 31.12.2014 and has filed a copy of the acknowledgment of the Deputy Commissioner of Prohibition and Excise, Srikakulam.

The petitioner, however, states that since no orders are passed on his representation, the petitioner is deprived of his only source of livelihood. Evidently, the petitioner's representation, dated 31.12.2014, is stated to be pending with respondent No.2.

Hence, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing respondent No.2 to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 31.12.2014, and pass appropriate orders expeditiously, preferably within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.
