Accused to quash the proceedings against them in FIR No.9 of 2023 pending on the file of Station House Officer, W.P.S. I.T Corridor, Cyberabad, Hyderabad, filed for the offences punishable under Sections 498-4, Indian Penal Code (for short "IPCJ and Sections 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner - Accused and learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent - State. Perused the material on record.

The 1tt respondent - de facto complainant is father in law of the petitioner who filed a written complaint alleging that after marriage of his daughter both the petitioner and his daughter went to U.S.A. and started staying there. However, petitioner came back to India on 18.03.2020 and did not return to U.S.A. when questioned the petitioner to return U.S.A he is giving lame reaSOnS

and he is not joining his daughter. For the said reasons the 1't respondent filed a complaint for psychologically harassing his daughter by not going to U.S.A.

Since the complaint is the outcome of the differences between husband and wife, this Court deems it appropriate to direct the Police to conclude the investigation without taking any coercive steps against the petitioner. Further, the petitioner - Accused shall co-operate with the Investigating Officer as and when required for the purpose of investigation.
