HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE T. VINOD KUMAR WRIT PETITION NO.5779 OF 2019 ORDER:
This Writ Petition is filed to declare the action of the respondent No.5 in opening and continuing Rowdy Sheet No.601(A) of 2008 dated 24.12.2008 against the petitioner in Naredmet police station, Naredmet, Malkajgiri Division, Rachakonda Commissionerate, as being illegal and arbitrary. Heard learned Counsel for the petitioner and learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home.
Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner despite making a representation earlier on 21.01.2012 and subsequently on 06.08.2012 and has also filed a representation once again on 05.11.2019 with regard to closure of the Rowdy sheet No.601(A) of 2008 stating therein the facts and the reasons for seeking of closure of the rowdy sheet.
Having regard to the said representation dated 05.11.2019 which is stated to have been filed before the 3rd respondent, a copy of which is placed before this Court, this Court is of the view that there shall be a direction to the 3rd respondent to consider the said representation of the petitioner and dispose of the same in accordance with law as
expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Subject to the above direction, the Writ Petition is closed. No order as to costs.
As a sequel, the miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
