HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE V.RAMASUBRAMANIAN AND HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE G.SHYAM PRASAD Writ Petition No.35074 of 2016 Order: (per V.Ramasubramanian, J.) The petitioner who completed the Higher Secondary Course in March-April, 2015, underwent further training in NCC and appeared for EAMCET-3 in September, 2016. Based upon the decision rendered by us, NCC certificates secured after passing of the qualifying examination, namely, Intermediate was not taken into account by the respondents. Therefore, the petitioner has come up with the present writ petition.

2. Heard Mr. P.Vishnuvardhana Reddy, learned counsel for the petitioner.

3. The Government Order G.O.Ms.No.73 issued by the State of Telangana made it clear that the certificate obtained before the qualifying examination alone will be taken into account. But while saying so, the expression "qualifying examination"

was indicated to include the EAMCET.

By a detailed order passed in a batch of cases, we have pointed out that as per Rules, EAMCET is a competitive examination and not a qualifying examination. Therefore, following the earlier orders, this writ petition is also

dismissed. The miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed. No costs. ___________________________ V.RAMASUBRAMANIAN, J.
