HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE R. KANTHA RAO W.P.No.30729 of 2015 ORDER:
Heard learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondentCorporation. This writ petition is filed seeking to declare the impugned proceedings dated 10.09.2015 issued by the 2nd respondent as illegal and arbitrary.
The petitioner is working as Driver in the respondentCorporation. While so, charge sheet was issued to him alleging cash and ticket irregularities. Simultaneously, he was kept under suspension vide proceedings dated 10.09.2015. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that there is no allegation of misappropriation of amount, thereby causing loss to the respondent-Corporation.
On the other hand, learned Standing Counsel would submit that since the order of suspension was passed pending enquiry, it needs no interference.
Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, without going into the merits of the case, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the respondent-Corporation to conduct enquiry and pass appropriate orders within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, failing which the order of suspension shall stand revoked. No costs.
Miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand
closed.
