This writ petition is filed praying to grant the following relief : "....declaring the action of the respondents in not considering the candidature of the petitioner for the post of Junior Lineman though the petitioner is having all requisite qualification, eligibility criteria and experience, as illegal and arbitrary and consequently direct the respondents to appoint the petitioner to the post of Junior Lineman or any other suitable post ...."

Today, though the matter is listed under the caption 'for dismissal', there is no representation on behalf of the petitioner. It appears, petitioner is not interested in prosecuting the writ petition.
