This Criminal Petition is filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, Lg73 (for short'Cr.P.C.) by the petitionersAccused Nos.2 to 4 to quash the proceedings against them P.RC.No.239 of 2022, on the file of the Court of the II Additional t ,lf t Junior Civil Judge-cum-II Additional Metropolitan Magistrate (Juvenile Court), Ranga Reddy District at L.B.Nagar, registered for the offences punishable under Section 370 A of the Indian Penal Code (for short "IPC') and Sections 3, 4, 5 of Immoral Tralfic (Prevention) Act 1956 and Section 5 (c) of Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act 2006.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioners - Accused Nos.2 to 4 and learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent - State. Perused the material on record.

The petitioners are identified as customers who were found in the premises at the time of raid in the house by the police when prostitution was going on. According to the provisions of Immoral
Crl.Petition No.2189 of 2023 Traffic (Prevention) Act, 1956 the same would not apply to customers since the Act is made for the purpose of curbing the menace of running prostitution as a business. With the said observation, the Criminal Petition is disposed off Miscellaneous applications pending, if any, shall stand closed.
