This writ petition is filed questioning the proceedings of the respondent No.5 in Rc.No.285/Sand/MPL/2012‐E, dated 05‐12‐2013 refusing to grant extension of time for quarrying sand for the balance quantity 787.01 of cubic meters out of 3,187.01 of cubic meters, for which, permit was granted by the respondent No.3 in proceedings No.APMDL No.GNT/56/1035/2012‐13, dated 26‐02‐2013 and Endr.No.GNT/56/1035/2012‐13, dated 05‐03‐2013, in his patta land over an extent of 0‐63 acres in Sy.No.330/3 to 330/6, 390/9, 3721, 448/2 to 448/4, 448/6 to 448/8, 450/4 to 450/6 of Annavaram Village, Kollipara Mandal, Guntur District and consequently to direct the respondent No.5 to grant extension of time to the petitioner for de‐casting balance sand of 787.01 cubic meters in his patta land. This Court by order dated 31.12.2013 granted interim direction to the fifth respondent to regulate the exercise properly within a maximum period of 15 days.
Apparently, pursuant to the bifurcation of the state, new sand policy has been notified. In view of the changed circumstances, liberty is given to the petitioner to approach the authorities once again. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is closed. As a sequel, the miscellaneous applications, if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
