THE HON'BLE THE ACTING CHIEF JUSTICE RAMESH RANGANATHAN WRIT PETITION No.13602 OF 2007 ORDER:

The relief sought for in this Writ Petition is to declare the action of the respondents, in not calling the petitioners for interview to the post of Maistry merely on the ground that their names are not sponsored by the employment exchange, as arbitrary and illegal. By way of an interim order, the petitioners sought a direction that they be interviewed for the post of Maistry, along with the candidates sponsored by the 2nd respondent-employment exchange, either on 28.06.2007 or on any other date.

This Court, by its order dated 27.06.2007, granted interim direction as prayed for. As the interim prayer sought for is the same as in the Writ Petition, and a direction has already issued to interview them for the said post, no further orders need be passed in this Writ Petition.
