HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE U.DURGA PRASAD RAO CRIMINAL PETITION No.3140 OF 2017 ORDER:

This Criminal Petition is filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. by the petitioners/A.2 to A.4 seeking to quash the proceedings against them in C.C.No.1314 of 2016 on the file of Judicial Magistrate of First Class, Kurnool, Kurnool District.

When this matter came up for hearing, learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that A.1 is now residing at Kuwait and petitioners/A.2 to A.4 who are his parents and brother are residing in Chittoor and they have no objection to proceed with the trial and his only request is to direct the trial court to conduct trial expeditiously, if possible. It is seen that the C.C. is of the year 2016. Having regard to the request of the learned counsel for the petitioners, the trial court is directed to complete the trial expeditiously but not latter than six months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

The appearance of petitioners/A.2 to A.4 in C.C.No.1314 of 2016 on the file of Judicial Magistrate of First Class, Kurnool, Kurnool District, is dispensed with except on the occasions when the trial court requires their attendance.

This Criminal Petition is disposed of accordingly. As a sequel, miscellaneous applications pending if any, shall stand closed.
