Mr. A. Ushi Reddy, learned counsel for the appellant does not press this appeal on merits and submits that the appellant would be satisfied if directions are issued to respondent No.4-Indian Olympic Association to consider their application dated 22.4.2015 (Annexure P-7), whereby, they have applied for affiliation and recognition of the newly elected office bearers of Telangana Olympic Association and Andhra Pradesh Olympic Association (residuary) for a term of four years) i.e., 2015-2019.
The writ appeal is disposed of as not pressed. Respondent No.4 is directed to consider the appellant's application dated 22.4.2015, on merits, in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible and preferably, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Appellant is directed to communicate a copy of this order along with copy of writ appeal and its annexures to respondent No.4 within a period of two weeks from today. Learned Assistant Solicitor General submits that he shall also
communicate this order to respondent No.4 requesting them to decide the appellant's application within the time frame. Consequently, pending miscellaneous applications shall also stand closed.
